An ethical-environmental battle unites three very different men, leaders of protest movements in two countries, who are committed to opposing the largest European energy project ever conceived: a gas pipeline running from Azerbaijan, through Georgia, Turkey, Greece, Albania, and on to southern Italy. The documentary follows the stories of Themis, Ippazio, and Giacomo: three idealists whose ideas are also supported by the convictions of corrupt politicians in favor of the pipeline, a first victory in a struggle for the preservation of nature, democracy, and European values that is still ongoing.
